The World Runners team is running and raising money to bring the World Affairs Council’s award-winning education programs to underserved schools throughout the Pittsburgh region! This includes global education programs for middle school students such as the Student Ambassador Program and programs for high school students such as International Student Summits, the Global Travel Scholarship Program, and more. Each member is either running the Pittsburgh marathon, half marathon, 5K, or a part of a marathon relay the weekend of May 5th-6th, 2012.

Want to get involved?  You can:

• Sponsor one of our runners or teams in the 2012 Dick's Sporting Goods Pittsburgh Marathon (Sunday, May, 6 2012)
• Donate directly to the World Affairs Council
• Volunteer on Race Day with the Council by contacting us by emailing marathon@worldaffairspittsburgh.org and asking how you can help the WorldRunners team cross the finish line
