Yesterday, the Council hosted a networking reception and guided tour for Young Professionals at the Carnegie Museum of Art. Attendees were led through the exhibit, Silver to Steel: The Modern Designs of Peter Muller-Munk, with curator Rachel Delphia.
A German-born industrial designer who made a home in Pittsburgh, Peter Muller-Munk was the creative mind behind thousands of designs for powerful clients in the mid-20th century, including Alcoa, Bayer, Bissell, Mellon Bank, and U.S. Steel.
This event is the first in a series of programs designed for Young Professionals. Thanks to the Carnegie Museum of Art and everyone who attended.
