The Global Leadership Certificate is a program designed to increase high school students’ interest and knowledge about global affairs while sharpening their leadership skills.
Students will showcase completed Capstone projects that address the question, “How might I make my school or community more global?” Projects include cultural performances, peer education, a diversity audit of a school, and other creative and inspiring work.
The Council will also be presenting the George C. Oehmler Award for exemplary performance on the part of a teacher in connection with the Global Education Program of the World Affairs Council of Pittsburgh.
