A Community Blueprint: Helping Immigrants Thrive in Allegheny County

launch_1Elected officials, including County Executive Rich Fitzgerald and Pittsburgh Mayor William Peduto, joined community leaders yesterday for the public release of “”A Community Blueprint: Helping Immigrants Thrive in Allegheny County” (Immigrant Community Blueprint)” (Immigrant Community Blueprint), a comprehensive, county-wide, and community-led strategic plan to address the needs of immigrants and Latinos in our region. More than 80 community members gathered at Salem’s Market and Grill in the Strip District for the announcement, which included a panel discussion moderated by Grant Oliphant, President of The Heinz Endowments.
