Join us as experts reflect on the first year following the historic Iran Nuclear Agreement. What progress has the agreement made to date? How strong of an agreement is it? What does the future look like?

Featured panelists will include:

Shimon Mercer-Wood serves as Spokesperson for the Consulate General of Israel in New York. He has been a member of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs since 2008, and previously served as a Political Officer in the Embassy of Israel in New Delhi, Desk Officer at the Ministry Head Quarters, and Press Officer at the Embassy of Israel in London. He holds a master’s degree in International Relations from the London School of Economics.

wisner_croppedAmbassador Frank G. Wisner led an impressive career with the United States Department of State that spanned four decades and eight American presidents. His many roles included Ambassador to Zambia, Egypt, the Philippines, and India. Ambassador Wisner currently works with the international law firm, Squire Patton Boggs, as an International Affairs Advisor providing clients with strategic global advice concerning business, politics, and international law.

walsh5Dr. Jim Walsh is an expert in international security and a Research Associate at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s Security Studies Program (SSP). Dr. Walsh focuses his research on areas of international security, especially those related to nuclear weapons and terrorism. He has testified before the U.S. Senate on the issue of nuclear terrorism and on Iran’s nuclear program. He was also one of only a handful of Americans to travel to both Iran and North Korea for talks with officials about nuclear issues.

Paul Guggenheimer of 90.5 WESA FM will serve as the moderator.
