International Student DayOct 15, 2016 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm
Students from all over the globe who are newly enrolled at 10 local universities and colleges will be welcomed to the region at International Student Day on Saturday, October 15, at the University of Pittsburgh. The event will connect students with community and nonprofit organizations, businesses and local dignitaries, who will share information on local services, cultural and sports activities, shopping and all the region has to offer. In addition, former and current international students will share their experiences about living in the region.
Speakers will include: Allegheny County Executive Rich Fitzgerald and Pittsburgh Mayor Bill Peduto. In attendance: CCAC President Quintin Bullock, Pittsburgh City Council members and other dignitaries.
This event will host 250 students and will also be available via webcast.
