NEW Opt412 One Page_logoThe Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy presents Opt412, a one-afternoon gathering of people who envision an even better Pittsburgh.

NEW Opt412 One PageOPT412’s keynote speaker is Paul Graham, a former resident of Pittsburgh  and the co-founder of Y Combinator, a startup incubator that since 2005 has funded over 1,000 startups like Dropbox, Airbnb, Stripe, and Reddit.

Graham – and featured speakers including first female engineer at Facebook Ruchi Sanghvi, one of Popular Science’s 10 Most Brilliant Scientists Luis Von Ahn, and Forbes Top 30 under 30 venture capitalist Clara Sieg, – will share their thoughts on what could make the Steel City even better.

Join these and dozens more invited speakers in conversations on topics that will shape the future of Pittsburgh. There’s so much about our city that makes it a unique and fantastic place to live – our thriving food and arts scene and of course our world-class parks. Bring your voice to  discussions about how we ensure that our city’s future is open to all,  sharpening our draw for businesses and students, encouraging  technology’s role in our city’s progress, and so much more.

Opt412 is free. Registration is required. The event is produced by the Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy in partnership with the University of Pittsburgh, Carnegie Mellon University and is part of the City of Pittsburgh’s “Inclusive Innovation Week.”

Networking 5 p.m. – 6 p.m.
