On October 10, RAND will host a conference to discuss U.S. and Japanese perspectives on artificial intelligence. What impacts could it have on work, health, and social well-being in both countries? David Danks, Department Head & L.L. Thurstone Professor of Philosophy and Psychology at Carnegie Mellon University will present a keynote address on designing artificial intelligence for social effect through policy. His insights will be supplemented by presentations from experts on key issues related to artificial intelligence.
