ATTENTION: Due to the overwhelming response to this event, we have updated its location to accommodate everyone who wishes to attend. Please note the event will now take place in Clapp Hall Auditorium, 4253 Fifth Avenue (entrance on Fifth and Tennyson), at the University of Pittsburgh. Parking can be found at the Soldiers & Sailors Garage or side street parking. The main entrance to Clapp Hall is opposite Alumni Hall.

SPEAKERS

Fred Hiatt is a columnist and editorial page editor for The Washington Post. He oversees the paper’s Opinions section, where Jamal Khashoggi was a columnist for Global Opinions. 

Emilia Diaz-Struck is Latin American coordinator of the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists, which mobilizes journalists around the world to hold the powerful accountable. One ICIJ project was the Pulitzer Prize-winning Panama Papers.

David M. Shribman is a Pulitzer Prize-winning syndicated columnist, executive editor emeritus of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette and scholar in residence at Carnegie Mellon University.
