University of Pittsburgh School of Law presents “Transitioning Kosovo to a New Constitution and Democracy,” featuring visiting professor Dr. Vjosa Osmani. Dr. Osmoni was on the first Vis Moot team CILE trained in Kosovo, and went on to receive a 2005 Pitt LL.M., and a 2015 Pitt SJD. Last year, she was awarded the University’s Sheth International Young Alumni Award for global impact. Vjosa has been the Chief of Staff and Legal Adviser to the President of Kosovo, and currently is a Member of the Kosovo Parliament (and one of the most popular political officials in Kosovo). She is at Pitt Law the first half of the fall semester teaching “State-Building and the Law: The Kosovo Experience.”
