Classroom Resources

In cooperation with educators, the World Affairs Council of Pittsburgh has produced:

  • Lesson Plans
  • U.S. Foreign Policy Scenarios
  • World Affairs Institute Background Papers
  • Resource Guides

These documents offer exercises in critical thinking on complex and often controversial issues.

The Council also has identified a number of reputable web sites — ranging from governmental and non-governmental organizations to news sources and beyond — that represent a broad spectrum of issues and views pertaining to international affairs.  The Council has also highlighted a number of organizations and programs related to international affairs education.

As a non-partisan educational organization, the Council is not responsible for their content and does not endorse any views expressed on those sites.
