Academic WorldQuest is an annual competition held in late winter that provides local high school students with the opportunity to test their knowledge of all things international.

Participating schools send teams of four students, who answer questions focusing on international affairs, current events, the global economy, geography, flags, world history, and general knowledge about the world.

Academic WorldQuest 2017Prizes are awarded to the first, second, and third place teams. The winning team is sponsored to participate in the National Academic WorldQuest competition in Washington, D.C., hosted by the World Affairs Councils of America each spring.

Who Can Play
This is a team competition. Teams consist of four high school students from the same school. In order to allow for as many schools as possible to participate, only one team per school district is permitted to enter the competition.
