As you may be aware, the 2012 One Young World Summit was recently held here in Pittsburgh. More than 1,000 twenty-somethings from 183 countries came to discuss some of the most pressing issues facing the world today. If you’re looking to learn more about the Summit and the topics that were discussed, look no further! We’ve compiled a few resources for you right here:

One Young World Resources

The Big Story Blog (Pittsburgh Post-Gazette): Includes articles, photos, videos, and other multimedia related to the OYW Summit in Pittsburgh.

From All Over the World (Pittsburgh Post-Gazette): An interactive map showing the number of delegates from each country, as well as who their employers are.

One Young World: The One Young World is a great place to find out who the counsellors are, what projects past delegates have accomplished, and learn more about the themes addressed at the Summit.

One Young World (YouTube): The OYW official YouTube page hosts videos from the Summit, including talks from former U.S. President Bill Clinton, NASA astronaut Ron Garan, Twitter creator Jack Dorsey, and celebrity chef Jamie Oliver, among others.

Pittsburgh Youth Media: A coalition of education, media and community groups formed in early 2012 in Pittsburgh. Approximately 30 Youth Media reporters covered the Pittsburgh OYW Summit. Their stories, audio recordings, videos, and photos can be found here.
