On this episode of the World Affairs Report, Angélica is joined by Daniel Zorub. Daniel is an Impact Donor Manager at Vitamin Angels, a non-profit that provides lifesaving vitamins to mothers and children at risk of malnutrition with the aim of reducing preventable illness, blindness and death. Vitamin Angels was founded in 1994 by Howard Schiffer, who was motivated to utilize his experience as a midwife and success in the natural products industry to better public health after an earthquake hit Southern California in 1994. Despite humble beginnings, Vitamin Angels is now reaching 61 million children and mothers in 74 countries around the world.

Previously, Daniel has worked as an Account Manager at Vitamin Angels and as an Orfalea Fellow and Teaching Assistant at the University of California Santa Barbara. He earned a B.A. in Global & International Studies and Middle East Studies as well as a Master’s in Global & International Studies from the University of California Santa Barbara.
