The developed world – with the exception of the United States – is in decline. Its population is shrinking and aging, and it is losing its economic vigor and dominance. The future belongs to the developing world where virtually all of the world’s population growth over the next four decades will take place. That growth provides the potential for tremendous economic expansion – and greater power and influence on the world stage. Think China and India.
