Joe Poskin manages day-to-day operations for the World Affairs Council. Before joining the team, he provided administrative and logistical support at Mentoring USA, an international nonprofit based in New York City that creates supportive mentorships for children and young adults. Most recently, Joe taught English at a university in Bangkok. While living there, he enjoyed learning Thai, connecting with colleagues from across the globe, and traveling throughout Southeast Asia. Joe graduated with a B.S. in Biology from the University of Kentucky, which is located in Lexington, his hometown. He has played tennis since he was eight years old and has practiced Brazilian jiu jitsu for the past few years.
