Katrina Mulherin joined the Council in January of 2020 as an education intern. Her role includes assisting the Council with production of educational and public events, developing curriculum for the Global Leadership Certificate, and supporting the Council’s overall mission to provide a pathway for a more globally minded region. Katrina is a current sophomore at Duquesne University double majoring in International Relations and Women and Gender Studies. She hopes to pursue a career working abroad as a foreign minister specializing in U.S.-Chinese relations or conducting non-profit work responding to international women’s issues. Adopted from China as a baby, Katrina possesses a deep interest in foreign affairs and promoting cultural competency and inclusivity. She was drawn to the Council’s commitment to fostering greater global awareness and preparing the next generation of future world leaders.
