Sarah Spiegel joined the World Affairs Council team in April 2019 and works to foster and grow meaningful partner relationships that align with the Council’s strategic vision and help expand the Council’s capacity. Sarah is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, receiving a B.A. in communication and a Master of Public Policy and Management from Pitt’s Graduate School of Public and International Affairs (GSPIA). Prior to joining the Council, Sarah spent more than a decade working with a number of organizations, managing and developing fundraising programs, including the Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh, the University of Pittsburgh, the Frick Pittsburgh, Open Hand Ministries, Riverlife, and Classrooms Without Borders. Sarah serves on several nonprofit boards, including Social Venture Partners Pittsburgh and Pittsburgh Urban Magnet Project (PUMP). She is a member of the International Stewardship Award Committee with the Association of Donor Relations Professionals.
